Abstract

A one-dimensional unsteady internal ballistic analysis was conducted for a solid-fuel ramjet engine. A model incorporating axial variations (in the flow direction) such as local regression rate of the grain, port enlargement, and flow characteristic changes was developed. Inlet airflow conditions and time-dependent grain geometry were applied to compute axial thermo fluid characteristics, and the model’s validity was verified by comparing computed and measured combustor pressures. This framework enables quantitative analysis of axial variations in pressure, temperature, fuel-to-air ratio, regression rate, and flow velocity within locally varying combustion regions.

고체연료 램제트 엔진의 국부 후퇴율을 고려한 일차원 비정상 내탄도 해석 기법을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 그레인 국부 후퇴율, 유로 확공, 유동 특성 변화 등 축방향(유동 방향) 변화를 반영한 일차원 비정상 내탄도 해석 모델을 개발하였다. 흡입구 공기 조건과 시간에 따른 그레인 형상 변화를 고려하여 축방향 열유동 특성을 계산하였으며, 실험 데이터와 수치해석 데이터의 연소실 전·후단 압력을 비교하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 이를 통해 램제트 연소실 국부 영역에서의 압력, 온도, 연료-공기비, 후퇴율, 유동 속도 변화를 정량적으로 분석하였다.
