Effects of Image Size and Variable Changes on the Cover Factor of Triaxial Braided Fabrics 3축 브레이드 직물의 커버 팩터에 대한 이미지 크기 및 변수 변화의 영향

Abstract

In this study, we investigated how image size and other variables influence the cover factor of triaxial braided fabrics by both image processing and equation-based calculations. Two-dimensional scanned images were obtained from braided preforms, and their cover factors were measured using image analysis. As the image size increased, the standard deviation of the cover factor decreased. When the image length reached five times the unit length of the preforms, the standard deviation dropped below 1%, and the discrepancy between the equation-based results and their mean value was also less than 1%. In addition, the cover factor increased as the mandrel diameter decreased or the braided angle increased. Also, when the pattern of the triaxial braided preforms was changed from the deformed pattern to the basic pattern, the cover factor increased.

이미지 처리 기법과 커버 팩터 계산식을 기반으로 이미지 크기 및 제작 변수가 3축 브레이드 패턴의 커버 팩터에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 커버 팩터를 얻기 위해 3축 브레이드 프리폼으로부터 이차원 스캔 이미지를 획득한 후, 이미지 분석 기법을 통해서 커버 팩터를 구하였다. 이미지 크기가 증가함에 따라 커버 팩터의 표준편차는 감소하였다. 이미지 길이가 브레이드 구조의 단위 길이의 5배를 초과할 경우 표준편차는 1% 미만으로 감소하였으며, 계산식과의 오차 역시 1% 이하로 낮아졌다. 제작 변수의 영향으로는, 심축 직경이 작아지거나 브레이드 각도가 증가할수록 커버 팩터는 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 또한, 브레이드 패턴이 변형 패턴에서 기본 패턴으로 변경될 때 커버 팩터는 증가하였다.
